Salary Point Class Starting on Mar. 13, 2010

This class focuses on how the entertainment and automotive industries transformed Los Angeles into the second biggest metropolis in the United States.  We will visit and/or take docent-led tours of the Paley Center for Media (formerly the Paley Museum of Television and Radio) and the Peterson Automotive Museum, and take the L.A. Conservancy's Broadway Walking Tour. We will also focus on cross-curriculum strategies and how they can enrich and supplement any educator's classroom, regardless of discipline.  This class can supplement any subject area, and is open to all certificated staff of LAUSD.  If you need salary point credit, this class would be one of the most fun and interesting ways to earn it!  Click on the link below to request enrollment info.
